Recording
Songs come to us in many different forms - from rough cut home recordings with vocals and guitar, to fully finished band performances that simply need a little shaping and polishing to get them where they need to be.
Our first job is to listen to your music and ascertain where you're up to with your new songs. How many songs do you have and how many do we need to work on? What's your budget and what sort of timeframe are we working to?
From there we'll listen to any material you've already recorded to check the quality of those recordings and see what we can use. More often than not, it's likely you've already recorded some beautiful performances from the comfort of your own home using a laptop, a DAW like Logic Pro, and a decent budget microphone - and that's cool!
If a performance works and it sounds good, let's use it. If nothing else, it's a great leaping off point for your new track but in many cases the magic of those original performances can work so well we end up building the whole song around them.
By working with experienced engineers and professional studios we have the ability to tackle any number of recording scenarios. So whether you're a solo artist, a full band, a gospel choir or even an ensemble, it makes no difference to us.
Don't have a band and need session musicians to help bring your songs to life - no problem. Or perhaps you've done most of the recording yourself in your home studio and you just need the feel of a live drummer on your tracks - we've got you covered.
Our goal is to take an open minded approach to the recording process, one that works best for you, your budget and most importantly your music. The key is capturing the magic!
